Melissa Coke, known by her stage name Mel C, was born in Toronto, Canada and raised by Jamaican parents. Like many artists, Mel C. began her musical journey in the church and school, singing in every choir possible. Mel C loves to sing gospel music and is greatly inspired by many artists.  During her career, Mel C. has achieved many accomplishments.  To name a few, she auditioned for the first Canadian Idol and sang backup for Pastor Donnie McClurkin.  She opened for Richie Stephens and shared the stage with Liberty Silver, Kafinal, Luciano, Glen Washington, L.U.S.T. and Judy Mowatt. Music is her true passion and be on the lookout for her new project.
